**IO Interactive** is looking for a skilled **Technical Producer** to join our Backbone Technology team in Barcelona or Malmo. This team develops and maintains all the technology used in our games, including the engine, editors, tools, and online systems.

Exceptional collaboration skills are essential, as this role requires close cooperation with the Backbone and Game Management teams and Leads to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects. Additionally, this person should inspire and motivate a talented team of programmers and engineers.

**What you will do**:

- Acting as the liaison between the tech team and the game management group, working closely with Backbone's management team.
- Consistently aligning and monitoring the tech team's objectives to ensure full support for project priorities and requirements, in coordination with the Backbone's Executive Producer and Technical Director.
- Engaging in long-term planning and upkeep of the technology backlog, in collaboration with Backbone's Technical Director.
- Managing short-term planning and tracking goals within the tech team, in alignment with the tech team Leads.
- Overseeing, coordinating, and validating builds and branches, ensuring they align with game timelines and milestones.
- Implementing risk management strategies.
- Tracking memory budget and performance at all production levels on the project.
- Participating in the interview process for potential team members.
- Involvement in the performance review process for existing employees.
- Identifying workflow enhancements and production optimizations.
- Monitoring and tracking TCR/TRC requirements, as well as other external technical certification requirements.
- Coordinating and managing requirements with external middleware providers.

**Who you are**:

- Profound knowledge of project management methods and software packages
- Good understanding of general software development practices
- Good knowledge and understanding of system integration and version control
- Experience with software defect tracking methods
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, in English
- Strong conflicts resolution skills
- At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Producer in software development.
