As part of Mazars’ strategic move to create a centralized and multi-country integrated service to serve clients across Europe. We have created Global Compliance & Reporting service with teams, processes and technology that allows multinational groups to meet all its accounting, tax, payroll and legal obligations and commitments, both locally and internationally while having accurate information centralized and delivered from our Center of Excellence (CoE). We are hiring Assistant Accountants to join this strongly growing international team in Barcelona. This is an opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at Mazars and to work in an English-speaking and truly international environment with a high number of countries across Europe.

Your mission
- Direct interaction with the different assigned clients
- Preparation, analysis and review of clients' general accounting (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, cash Management, Fixed Assets)
- Preparation of reporting, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, as well as any additional information requested by the client
- Preparation of the necessary documentation and information to calculate the recurrent fiscal obligations of the clients (VAT, personal income tax, corporate tax...) and other taxes that additionally must be presented
- Preparation of annual accounts and official books
- Ensuring all deliverables are sent on time and manner to the client or clients you are assigned
- Supporting the automation, standardization and improvement of internal accounting processes

**Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or similar
- Minimum between 1 to 2 years’ working experience in corporate taxation and accounting
- High knowledge of ERP (SAP, Navision, or similar) and Excel
- Good oral and written communication in English (B2 or higher)
- Good oral and written communication in GERMAN (B2 or higher)
- Interest and ability to multi-task in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and ability to work with strict reporting deadlines
