OMS is the way DSC wants our businesses to operate, mainly by creating a Performance Management culture. OMS FC sets out to describe:

- What needs to be delivered and which activities will enable the results
- Who is responsible for carrying out each activity
- When each activity should be done
- How each activity should be done, driving the standardization across all levels of our operations.

The Purpose of the OMS First Choice Champion role is to support the implementation of the Operations Management System on site and ensure sustainability. This includes the development and coaching of the site leadership team (supervisors and coordinators) and the tracking of the OMS achievements.

**Accountabilities and Responsabilities**

Drive the implementation of the 4 OMS FC principles and 12 OMS FC elements and maintain DHL OMS First Choice.

Support the Site Management Team to establish and maintain an Organization that Delivers:Maintain the identified KPI tree, support the development and maintenance of the Management Review Process, coach the leaders to follow the TDM and confirm routines and responsibilities are carried out in practice and ensure targets are properly set for Objectives & KPIs

Support the implementation and maintenance of Performance Management

Support the implementation and maintenance of the Job Standardization:

- Support the development and maintenance of Work Instructions & ensure a good alignment with Quality Management
- Develop the Excellence School
- Train and coach site leaders for conducting Gemba
- Ensure Job Standardization routines are in place and understand deviations

Support Continuous Improvement: Manage continuous improvement opportunities for Kaizen and Kaikak, train all site leaders on problem solving, coach the site leaders to continuously improve their processes

**Requirements for the Job**

Experience in Performance Management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies highly desirable

Experience working within supply chain operations is essential for this role

Experience in project management or implementations desirable

Able to work with remote and virtual teams

Requires ca. 25% National / International travel

Dynamic and goal orientated

The ability to influence without formal authority

Fluent Spanish and English language required (English is the business language)
