**Job Description**:
What you’ll do:
As the Tax Compliance Manager, you’ll work closely with all the members in the tax team and report to the Head of Tax. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to join our global tax function with a primary focus on our tax compliance and ERP transformation projects.
You will be responsible for optimising and managing the end-to-end process to make data from our systems readily available to comply with tax reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage tax compliance with support from our tax outsourcing partner, Deloitte
- Review tax returns and/or related documents and propose necessary corrections to ensure proper completion of forms, attachments of supporting documentation and accuracy of mathematical calculations
- Supervise VAT reports to enable filing of VAT returns
- Deliver and implement a high-quality ERP roll out across multiple jurisdictions
- Be responsible for day-to-day progression of tax elements related to ERP projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach
- Lead internal projects on tax transformation including implementation of new technologies, ERPs, tools and databases
- Assess, improve, and implement tax and VAT compliance processes and controls across Adevinta
**Qualifications**:
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree and preferably, Master’s degree in Taxation
- Preferably a Chartered Tax Advisor or Chartered Accountant
- Proven experience in global transformation,outsourcing processes and ERP design
- An understanding of VAT issues - especially in relation to ERP transformation
- Experience working on large-scale projects specialising in ERP implementation
- Ability to build relationships, work proactively, and independently under tight time frames in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical capabilities and judgement
- Fluent English is a must
