**WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?**
The operations team will be responsible for operating the** GOVSATCOM Hub system**, which intermediates the provision of SATCOM services between the end users in the EU member countries and the satellite telecommunications service providers.
We are looking for an **Operations Team Leader** with experience in satellite telecommunications services. As the Operations Manager, reporting to the project’s technical director, the responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the provision of services to end users in accordance with the applicable service levels or SLAs.
- Generating reports on service provision, including statistics, incidents, etc.
- Contributing to the generation of operational procedures, in coordination with the GOVSATCOM Hub system development team.
- Managing the operations team, including selection, training, organization, and daily task distribution.
- Providing feedback on issues and improvements to the GOVSATCOM Hub system with the aim of improving operational efficiency.
**WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?**
We are looking for **graduates in Telecommunications** or similar fields who have:
- At least 3 years of experience in the definition and/or implementation of satellite communication services
- Experience and skills in team management
- Fluent level of English
We will also positively value:
- Experience in systems with strict security requirements
- Knowledge of satellite communication equipment and related systems
- Knowledge of trends and advancements in satellite communication technology
