**Business Context**

**_Responsibilities_**
- Designs full software stack for ISPs including firmware for peripheral hardwares, data flow frameworks, and more; enables co-work of development and algorithm engineers on the same software code base
- Contributes to the complete product development cycle in order to meet defined deliverables
- Keeps up with changes in software development tools and techniques used in the product development lifecycle
- Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of firmware.
- Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines
- Participates as a member of project team of other firmware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem
- Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding firmware design status, project progress, and issue resolution

**_ Education & Experience_**
- Academic degree in any related engineering field; computer science, telecommunications, et
- Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships related to the job content would be a plus.

Knowledge & Skills_**
- Developing technical knowledge of complex software systems, including enterprise, middleware, firmware, and embedded systems
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze input from multiple sources (customers, sales, engineering, marketing, competitor, and management)
- Ability to understand and deal well with rapid development cycles and remain flexible in the face of uncertainty
- Proficiency using firmware design tools and languages. Strong, demonstrable coding skills in C and C+
- General understanding of firmware and hardware design, including interactions and integrations of firmware with hardware
- Firmware testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
- Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options
