**Key responsibilities**
- Supervise Test Vehicle Instrumentation
Oversee the precise installation of sensors and the configuration of data acquisition devices on test vehicles, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.
- Execute Test Programs:
Direct and manage test programs in alignment with project specifications, with a specific focus on air drag tests as per EU Regulation 2017/2400, ensuring thorough compliance and accurate results.
- Analyse Test Data:
Perform detailed analysis of test data with a specialized emphasis on aerodynamic performance. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to derive actionable insights for project development and improvement.
- Develop and Improve Testing Processes:
Evaluate and refine existing testing procedures and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality. Propose and implement innovative ideas to expand and elevate heavy-duty testing services.
- Support Sales Process:
Collaborate closely with the product manager to provide expert support in drafting technical proposals and quotations, contributing to successful sales outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to R&D Projects:
Engage in research and development projects to explore and establish new services and capabilities. Contribute to the continuous enhancement and innovation of internal processes and testing methodologies.
**Qualifications**
Profile
- Demonstrated experience of 1 to 3 years in vehicle testing, with a strong preference for expertise in powertrain or homologation.
- Experience in measurement technology and data acquisition systems. Familiarity with CAN communication equipment is an asset.
- Genuine enthusiasm for measurement data analysis, spanning from initial post-processing to the meticulous reporting of final results.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey findings and insights to customers.
- Dynamic, proactive, and self-motivated attitude, coupled with a willingness to engage in global projects as required.
Education
- Possession of an Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive or Mechatronics
- B driving license is mandatory. Additional licenses will be regarded as an asset.
Languages
- Fluent in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Other languages such as German, French, Italianis considered advantageous.
