**SANTANDER TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS is looking for a TECHNICAL ARCHITECT **, **based mainly in MADRID**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As **Technical Architect **you will:

- Definition and evolution of cloud reference technical architectures in the domains of Event Driven Architectures, Microservices Architectures and Serverless Architectures. Definition of technical architecture blueprints, patterns and best practices.
- Definition and design of technical solutions for projects and cloud platforms based on the previously defined technical reference architectures.
- Execution of proofs of concept, product certification and benchmarking, technology observatory in technical domains as microservices, event driven architectures, and serverless architectures.

EDUCATION
- Technical University Degree
- Post-graduate studies will be a plus

EXPERIENCE
- Background in enterprise & technical architecture design.
- Data Storage Fundamentals
- Networking Essentials
- Security Essentials
- Monitoring Essentials

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge in technologies related to Microservices Architecture: Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh,...
- Knowledge in technologies related to Event Architecture: Apache Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Confluent, Azure Event Hub,...
- Knowledge in technologies related to Serverless Architecture: Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, KNative,...
- Good Knowledge in different Cloud platforms: Azure and AWS.
- Good Knowledge and experience in CICD technologies: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Sonar,...
- Good Knowledge in development frameworks such as Spring Boot/Node.js
- Hands on Technical experienced and with a good understanding of common technology platforms and security technologies
- Understanding of Scrum or Agile development and Devops team initiatives.

- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
