Corporate - Business Applications Manager, Group It

**Job Purpose**
**PRINCIPIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Build, inspire, and lead teams/individuals in alignment with the overall IT guiding principles while mentoring and developing expertise in others.
- Fully understands and applies the Amcor System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process when performing system modifications and ensures adherence of the process while serving as a mentor to Application Specialists.
- Lead team to establish to be solution alternatives with recommendations.
- Manage and maintain day to day operations and front-line business relations.
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, management information systems, business, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 3-7 years of work experience in business process or IT, as ERP Application Manager, Business Relationship Manager, with software development and project management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading people.
- Experience in a global manufacturing environment (packaging solutions, make to order, make to stock) is strongly preferred.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Change management expertise with the ability to guide teams through organizational change.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Fluent in English; French and Spanish are advantageous.
**Job Specific Requirements**:
- Experience in operating systems (Linux, OS400, Windows), databases (Oracle, MS SQL, DB400) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC 6.0 is strongly preferred.
- Affinity with factory automation (Automatic Guided Vehicles, inspection systems, machine data capture, automated/robotic warehouses, etc.).
- Travel: 10-20%.
