A vacancy for an Industrial Innovation Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Sevilla.

The successful applicant will join Manufacturing Engineering Department.

**Tasks & accountabilities**

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Management of Innovation and Digitalization projects in order to cover the technological needs of legacy and future programs in Manching and other Sites.

Industrial technology research, rating and selection in accordance with program needs and legal requirements.

Contribution to manufacturing and service cluster for future programs

Alignment with the Operations Strategy and previous financial feasibility studies to ensure accordance to the official regulations and the targeted efficiency of projects.

Identification of similar approaches from other plants and merging projects to one single transversal initiative in terms of innovating industrial processes.

Analysis of existing and new manufacturing processes, digital tools, systems and interfaces and documenting the gaps existing among them all.

Supporting/driving the cultural change within Airbus Defence and Space by knowledge sharing through lessons learned and participating to work in agile teams.

Defining, describing, running and supporting several Proof of Concepts (PoC) to evaluate thoroughly the digital tools using a testing environment.

With the Digital Design, Manufacturing and Service Airbus is expecting a step change in the operational efficiency across the lifecycle of the program.

Project objectives are to reduce the time to market and the overall product costs (NRC and RC). Allowing a co-design with the assigned major subcontractor with taking into consideration the digital continuity of internal and external data generated.

Defining, developing, executing and giving support to DDMS work stream activities for Manufacturing such as:

- Defining and documenting technical requirements use cases and user stories (according to Scrum methodology).
- Building diagrams to document the data flow needed
- Direct communication with developers in order to support the deployment of the tools customization.

**Required skills**
- Master Degree in Engineering
- Spanish and English level: fluent
- Project Management skills and economical knowledge
- Open minded for collaborative ways of working transnational and transcultural.
- Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
- Well established network and stakeholder management capabilities
- Affine to technology, technology improvement and digitalization, for example with experience of Dassault Systems Applications (e.g. Catia V5, Catia V6, Aprisio, 3DX)
- Working background in the aerospace industry and experience in Manufacturing Engineering processes.
- Experience in agile product development or PMP would be considered as a plus.
