Head of HR Spain

On January 10th, FRS Spain and Morocco became part of DFDS and we are now looking for a new Head of HR for our business in Spain and Morocco.

Together with a great team, you will be responsible for HR of FRS Iberia/Moroc Group which includes both HR Business partnering and HR Operations.
As a key leader in our People Division, you will drive the strategic priorities of the People Division within your area of responsibility all directly linked to DFDS’s overall strategy and with the ambition to develop DFDS to a Great Place To Work and with below priorities;
- Promote diversity, equity & inclusion
- Foster a safe place to work
- Cultivate engaging leadership.
You will be based in our office in Tarifa, Spain where you will work closely with the business and the business leaders. You will be part of the Business Unit Strait of Gibraltar (FRS Iberia/Maroc) management team and you will also work closely with our colleagues in our People Division.

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Strategic and analytic mindset with strong prioritization and execution skills
- Broad and deep HR business partner skills and great stakeholder management
- Academic degree and experience from working in a commercial, international enterprise, preferably with responsibility across several countries
- Strong leadership and coaching skills in line with DFDS’s values
- Strong business acumen, making it natural for you always to understand the business context you are operating in as a guiding direction for what to prioritise
- English fluency (spoken and written)
- Spanish skills, preferably also French skills.
