Global Associate Director, Strategy

As Associate Director of Strategy, International Segment at Wolters Kluwer Health, Clinical Effectiveness, you will play a key role in identifying and advancing operational priorities and segment strategies. You will lead efforts that promote team success, including cross organization collaborations, that assure successful achievement of segment priorities and operational initiatives, and the business’s revenue results.
This role will work with the Vice President, International Segment to:
- Oversee operational mechanisms and cadences that advance segment priorities and ensure their success;- Lead segment programs and further strategic initiatives that accelerate revenue acquisition, reveal actionable client and market insights, advance adjacent cross-functional strategic initiatives, further market-facing engagements, and operationalize segment reporting;- Represent the International Segment for WK cross-functional teams, projects, and communications with Division and Global leadership and strategy teams.
Success will require strong organizational skills, analytical paired with communication skills, good business acumen, independent thinking, ability to work across multi-functional teams, and manage multiple segment priorities simultaneously. Operational excellence, a bias for action, and a positive attitude are required.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensures the execution of all strategic initiatives, leading to successful achievement of the business’s revenue goals;- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Product Marketing to ensure product strategy, messaging, and product marketing aligns with international segment strategy;- Lead team operating mechanisms in partnership with segment leadership, Sales Operations and Customer Success;- Optimize sales effectiveness in partnership with Sales Operations & segment leadership;- Oversee the execution of strategic GTM efforts in partnership with Product and support management efforts for market-facing innovation engagements and early adopter programs;- Further the strategic efforts in partnership with Vice President and segment of the Vision and Strategic Plan (VSP) on an annual basis;- Champion and nurture key relationships with vendors, channel partners, and industry analysts;- Lead internal communications of key segment activities, including strategy and revenue, in partnership with segment leadership and finance teams;- Represent the International Segment for WK cross-functional teams, projects, and communications with Division and Global leadership and strategy teams;- Work cross-functionally with technology, legal, sales, product, service, marketing, finance and others to prioritize and operationalize strategic initiatives;- Behave in ways that demonstrate corporate core values and culture; developing professional and positive relationships with customers and colleagues; and maintaining a reputation of competence, integrity and professionalism.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A BS/BA degree or equivalent;- 10+ years experience leading, supporting, and advancing business strategy, business operations;- 5+ years strategy consulting and program management experience preferred;- Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to deliver a compelling case for strategic cross-organization and GTM programs;- Demonstrated experience understanding internal customer and stakeholder needs, and business trends;- An analytical mindset, relationship development skills, and an ability to collaborate across business functions including segment, sales, finance, product, marketing, customer success and legal, among other operating teams that support commercial execution and success;- Comfort with ambiguity and pivoting priorities;- Intuitive ability for identifying and resolving process / operational, and market gaps.
