**This role will manage the legal and operational risks around personal data by assessing business operations on a continual basis, developing the right policies, procedures, and training programs, and overseeing all tools and technologies (such as One Trust) in collaboration with the Baxter Privacy Office. The Privacy Analyst will support the implementation of Baxter Privacy Program in accordance with Baxter Global Privacy Policy and GDPR policy, as well as HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA and state laws as well as the GDPR and other local privacy laws.**:
**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct compliance gap analysis and readiness assessments for upcoming policy changes.
- Collect and maintain records of processing activities Conduct privacy assessments related to activities, products and solutions in One Trust and any other systems and processes under the supervision of the Legal Counsels including.
- Create and maintaining documentation, privacy notices, privacy statements, Procedures, work instructions and guidance notes in cooperation with legal teams.
- Management of the Privacy Office Sharepoint.
- Manage any Data Subject Request process that the organization has.
- Preparing reports on regulatory compliance.
- Manage the privacy inbox and triage the incoming cases, assess the cases to the competent member of the Privacy Team and monitor resolution.
- Support the assessment and implementation of tracking technologies in collaboration with the competent IT teams.
- Draft and negotiate Data Processing Agreements with Baxter’s vendors and customers.
- Perform due diligence exercises on Baxter’s potential partners from a data protection compliance standpoint.
- Organize any local translation of global templates that will be available for the whole organization and if need be local clearance by the local lawyers.
- Support the management of the relationship with Bater’s external legal counsels.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3+ years of professional experience in an international company or in an international law firm in the area of data protection.
- Professional experience in data privacy role, information governance, and/or corporate compliance. Exposure in privacy technology tools such as One Trust, Trust Arc and/or CIPP certification will be considered a plus.
- Good knowledge of global data privacy and security requirements including GDPR.
- Ability to work independently and perform research in ambiguous legal issues.
- High degree of accountability, professional motivation, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work with and coordinate activities across a large number of individuals across various functional areas and effectively communicate the impact of law and regulation on business operations in a solutions-oriented manner.
- Fluency in English. Ability to work in other EU languages will be considered as a plus.
