MISSION
To lead the HW Engineering organization and be responsible for local development of products in accordance with client specifications and the quality, price and timing objectives defined for the projects.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure that the proper technical managing profiles required match with each related projects or engineering services.
Guarantee proper and effective transversal engineering service tasks (example ECAD / ELAB / EMC).
Manage Quality and Performance metrics for Hardware Engineering.
Align the technical roadmap “know-how” with the different Business area needs.
Create and execute strategies for hardware technologies that will support new business growth opportunities, drive innovation and serve the future market demands of our customers.
Guarantee follow-up on Idneo's Development SysteM/Ficosa's Development System (FDS/IDS).
Ensure implementation of the Lessons Learned.
Identify potential Intellectual Property protection needs and take action when required.
Be responsible for obtaining lower local development costs.
Represent the Idneo/Ficosa’s products and technologies at customer meetings.
With the HR Department, contribute to drawing and retaining top technical talent in the field, in order to upgrade quality and performance standards.
Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
**Academic background**: Bachelor’s degree in electronics or telecommunications
**Languages**: Fluent local language & Fluent English (spoken & written)
**Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in a similar position
OTHER SPECIFICATIONS
**Additional training**: MBA would be of additional value
