The **Epilepsy Unit **at Vall d'Hebron Hospital wants to incorporate to its team a **Study Coordinator** to support clinical research
on the field of epilepsy.

The **Epilepsy Unit** is a clinical research team that collaborates in the development of new drugs through participation in clinical
trials phase II-III and IV.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**
College or University degree, preferably in Biology, Biochemical, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Nursery.
- Additional training in good clinical practice and clinical trials methodology.
- Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
- Basic computer skills (Office package, mail, database).

**Preferred: -**
Master in clinical trials monitoring.
- Organized and methodical person with high motivation and initiative.

**Experience and knowledge: -**
Experience with SAP management program.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**
Coordinate the clinical trials in Epilepsy.
- Coordinate the start-up phase (organize and attend pre-study visits, inform the medical team on the status of the trials.** -**
Ensure maximum adherence to the protocol avoiding deviations.** -**
Assist the research team in the tasks necessary for the development of studies (dialy summary of patient reporting SAEs,

preparation of TCs, document management).** -**
Manage patient’s agenda (treatment, medical procedure).** -**
Prepare and attending the monitoring visits (SIVs, SMVS and SCVs).** -**
Prepare site files, source documents and eCRF for audits and regulatory agencies inspection.***
