About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- A Bachelors’ degree
- At least 5 years’ experience selling to the academic sector
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and at least one additional language such as French, Italian, or Spanish
- Proven experience in leading demonstrations, trainings, and presentations

- The ability to develop a deep understanding of specialty product(s)
- Be able to clearly and compellingly articulate value proposition for specialty product(s) and respond to inquiries about product functionality
- Knowledge of Clarivate business and solutions for the academic and government field
- Sales negotiation skills, with experience influencing and selling to the executive-level decision maker

What will you be doing in this role?
- Focusing. Focus on new business, uncovering opportunities, creating target lists, prospects, and participating in territory planning while engaging the Account Manager as appropriate.
- Leading. Lead specialty product forecasting and coordinate weekly forecasting activities with Account Managers
- Qualifying. Qualify top opportunities based upon key initiatives and product roadmap driven from sales leadership for the product sales team; coordinates with Account Manager on plans to be incorporated into overall territory and specific account plans.

About the Team
- The Product Sales Manager will interact and work with a large team and functions such as with account managers, Renewal account manager, customer success consultant, presales consultant, regional marketing support, product managers and more. The teams he/she will be working with are located across the EMEA region
- The team responsibilities are to drive all new business and renewals for the assigned product portfolio and territories.,
- The team culture is dynamic, customer focus, new business focused, working in team for success and multi-cultural
- This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours

Hours of Work

The teams you work with are primarily located in EMEA, and you may work with teams internationally in APAC and the US. This is a full-time permanent role.
