PayRetailers is a payment gateway designed to handle mass online payments to the Latin American market. The company combines local markets expertise with payment technology enabling global merchants to successfully expand their business into high growth, emerging markets while eliminating the many operational complexities of managing cross-border payments.

As a **Functional Analyst** reporting to the CINO you will be part of a team of experts who use their experience to provide targeted recommendations to help PayRetailers improve its operations. You will focus on business needs, software requirements and system designs that can help improve our productivity and efficiency. As a team, you will be responsible of understanding our company’s functional needs, analyzing them with the different stakeholders and defining the best solution to address them with a holistic approach.

**Job duties and Responsibilities**:

- Collect and understand the business requirements and translate those into functional requirements.
- Analyze interdependencies of functional and non-functional Requirements.
- Perform gap analysis and suggest solutions.
- Prepare easy to understand functional documentation describing the requirements needed including all use case scenarios, procedures, UX (processes) & UI (if applicable), UAT tests, technical, performance, security and quality requirements.
- Document changes being made and relevant teaching manuals.
- Ensure technical team have everything in their hands to succeed.
- Define acceptance criteria together with the business stakeholders.
- Support stakeholders during their testing phase and analyze the reported issues and identify bugs, issues and change requests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on business and technical side.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- 5+ years in a functional analytical position.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work in an agile environment (Scrum Master / Product Owner certification is a great plus).
- Preferred experience with the payments or fintech industry, its different departments, products and services.
- English advanced.
- In-depth knowledge of IT and computer science principles.
- Availability to travel 2 - 4 days per month.
