Data Centre Technician

We are seeking to work with dedicated people looking to change sectors and make the exciting move into the data centre world. Individuals working within construction, maritime, aviation, and the automotive industry have all previously made very successful moves into Equinix data centres.

Working as a crucial part of our Equinix Operations department, the role will involve conducting circuit maintenance, installations and advanced testing.

**The Role**

With both technical and on the job training, you’ll be working as part of a busy team working together to achieve the following (this position involves working shifts):

- Installing customer equipment and cabinets
- Supporting customer happiness through timely and precise order execution
- Conducting carrier circuit testing
- Installing, testing and modifiying cross connections
- Maintaining detailed written records of all activity
