**What about us?**

Sunhero is a residential solar energy company on a mission to make access to clean, PV solar energy easy and affordable. We leverage technology and innovation to accelerate the transition to clean energy.

Sunhero was founded in 2021 by Christopher Cederskog and Stefan Braun. Two entrepreneurs with over 25 years of experience launching companies in the international markets, including Airbnb, Rover, and Course Hero. Sunhero is Berlin-founded and Barcelona-headquartered.

We raised our series A investment round of 10M€ in March 2023. This round was led by climate tech VC Planet A and Vorwerk Ventures, as well as Redstone, All Iron Ventures, and Speedinvest.

**What we want to achieve together?**

We are currently facing a new stage in our company’s growth, and therefore looking for an experienced VP of Sales to lead the sales department and drive revenue growth in the organisation. This includes designing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned to the business overall goals and objectives. This VP of Sales will be responsible for managing and motivating the Sales Leadership Team, to achieve their targets, as well as working cross-functionally with other departments, such as Marketing, Product Development, Operations, to ensure that the company's products and services are aligned with customer needs and market demand.

Additionally, the person holding this position will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the company's products and services to potential customers.

This role will allow you to take responsibility from day one and participate in the expansion of Sunhero to help us accelerate the transition to solar energy in Spain.

You will be in a unique position as part of the leadership team at Sunhero, shaping ‌the‌ future of solar energy. To be successful in this role you need to have an entrepreneur mindset, be analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done and openness for iterations and change. As we continue to grow and build a solid business and outstanding culture you need to be very hands on and ready to roll up your sleeves to make thinks happen, and a continuos development management to make your team a high performing one. Last, but definitely not least, the person holding this position needs to have our customer at it’s heart and make everything possible for them to have an outstanding experience with us.

**Skills**:
**Communication**: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, partners, internal and external stakeholders, press. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

**Negotiation**: Ability to negotiate effectively with customers, partners, and vendors. Strong negotiation skills are a must.

**Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify and solve complex problems and make difficult decisions. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.

**Adaptability**: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and organisational priorities.

**Sales Process Optimisation**: Ability to optimise sales processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience. Knowledge of sales methodologies and softwares to support a seamless process is a must.

**Sales Forecasting**: Ability to forecast sales pipeline and revenue accurately. Experience with sales forecasting tools such as Salesforce is preferred.

**Sales Team Management**: Ability to manage and lead a sales managers to achieve targets. Experience with sales coaching, performance management, training, development plans, engagement actions, feedback, etc. is preferred.

Although this person will be working with a Sales Operations team to support the Sales Strategy, the VP of sales should have knowledge about:
**Customer Relationship Management (CRM)**: CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics (We work with SalesForce)

**Sales Automation Tools**: Understand how to manage implementation and optimisation of automation tools to improve sales productivity and efficiency.

**Ability to analyse sales data** and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
