Customer: important têxtile company, with presence in international markets, specialised in recycled fibres needs to incorporate.

Position: HSE Assistance Manager

Location: Banyeres de Mariola (Alicante)

Functions:

- Define the HSE approach and HSE program, lead and drive all HSE related activities in the production factory.
- Participate on the ramp up of Vietnam hub and provide HSE coverage in all planning and construction activities.
- Encourage and enforce a safety culture within the company by providing a strong visibility on shopfloor level.
- Conduct investigations of any type of injuries.
- Coordinate HSE training plan with different departments.
- Inspect safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, safety eye wash stations, first aid kits, etc. in a weekly basis (safety walks).
- Third party coordination (CAE Spanish regulation).
- Assistance with maintaining chemical inventory list and Safety Data sheets.
- Assistance with hazardous and non-regulated waste management.
- Conduct internal HSE audits related to ISO 45001 and 14001, support external audits with the certification body.
- Liaising with staff, internal stakeholders, consultants, owners and other relevant third parties with regards to safety and environmental issues.
- Administrate monthly reporting of Safety and Health statistics.
- Involve EHS risk assessment (Environmental Aspect and Impact Register) periodically.
- Prepare weekly, monthly EHS Report/ safety walks/ GAP and follow up.
- Legal requirements register and update.
- Maintain and update the documentation control system.
- Assist with the planning, coordination and implementation of health & safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all HSE regulations.
- Coordination with different hubs such as Vietnam and Bangladesh.

**Profile**:

- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 5-7 years HSE experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- OSHA/NEBOSH certification preferred.
- Excel proficiency, MS SharePoint knowledge and high presentations skills.
- Self-starter, results and solution-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Structed and fact-based working approach, strong analytical skills.
- Exposure and proven experience in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Preferred Qualified internal auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Availability for international travel.
- Proficient in English reading and writing.
