Senior Manager, ITNL IT Program Management Barcelona BasedThis is what you will do: The Senior Manager, International IT Program Management for Alexion Rare Disease (RD), will be key to project/program and operational excellence within the International Rare Disease Unit (RDU). You will possess a sharp business mindset and play a fundamental role in buildingup, sustaining and advancing the IT International Rare Disease Technology, Digital & Data Programs. The position carries responsibility for management and delivery of the standardized, integrated program timeline, including incorporating deliverables across functions, SMEs, and indications. Working closely with IT Business Partners, Business Stakeholders, Technical IT Operational and Delivery Teams and vendors, you will support project/program delivery.
Establish program governance and deliver decision point reviews, member Steering Committee meetings.Support Associate Director, INTL IT Portfolio & Operational Excellence Lead, with project planning and facilitating team meetings, project status meetings, RAID log, preparing agenda and minutes, driving, and securing followup on agreed actions.Support Associate Director, Portfolio & Operational Excellence Lead with advance preparation for strategic planning, deep dives/reviews, IT/business governance meetings in delivering quality presentations.Drive full visibility of the INTL IT RDU portfolio, supporting demand management, prioritization, and investment decision making with the IT leadership team and Business Partners. You will need to have: Excellent planning and resource management skills, strong project and program management skills, and proven experience controlling large project, program, and portfolio budgetsDemonstrated experience working independently to provide best in class operations and program management expertise to ensure excellence in executionExpert Program Management skills, with proven track record of delivering broad, complex and/or strategic projects/programs combined with the ability to execute at tactical projectlevel activities and tasks including defining project scope, team building, integrated project scheduling, risk and issue management, communication planning, status reporting to all levels of stakeholders, and tollgate managementProfound understanding and adherence to PMIs or similar Project and portfolio Management methodologiesAdvanced knowledge of Program/Project Management tools and techniques in the areas of process mapping, milestone planning, planning and facilitation of meetings, change management and scheduling toolsBroad understanding of IT systems and technology implemented within a business context.Superb communication and relationship management skills, excellent written and oral communication including capacity to comfortably interface with Cross Functions. Ability to create executive presentation material (ppt) and manage with influence (senior stakeholders, peers, external partner etc.)Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize activities and manage complexity.Strong team player, collaborator, and networker with strong critical thinking and reasoning skills, that can deliver solutions and drive improvements5+ years experience working in Biotech, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare technology industry with strong exposure to commercial and/or medical operations and/or transformation deploying large scale solutions internationally in commercial/medical operations and excellence, digital, multichannel solutions, and SaMD standards.The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an officebased role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and nonlinear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.We would prefer for you to have: Masters degree or equivalent preferredMin 5+ years experience working in Pharmaceutical, Biotechbased company or healthcare technology industry in a portfolio management or similar roleProject/Program/Portfolio Manager certificationsPrevious experience with Veeva CRM, SFDC Health Cloud, Veeva Network, SteepRock, Veeva Vault MedcomIT Project management experience in Life Sciences.
Experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile and waterfall IT solution implementation projects, exposure to GxP regulation an advantage Experience working in a global organization where partners and project team members are geographically dispersedSolid understanding of Financial Management and Benefits Delivery practicesFluent in spoken and written English, Spanish in spoken and written and other languages a plus.
