The Vodafone Mobile Private Network (MPN) portfolio is a newly established business area that aims to meet the operation technology (OT) and IT (Information Technology) integration plus the Supply Chain Management (SCM) digitization needs of enterprise industrial customers supporting their Industry 4.0 and SCM 4.0 targets. In order to fulfil this objective Vodafone Business is looking for a OSS Solution Architect. You will own the full stack lifecycle of the platform(s) under your scope. You will be accountable for the architecture, roadmap, and technical design of Inventory, Assurance and Operational support systems as well as responsible to coordinate both the corresponding platform evolution driven by product roadmap, security, lifecycle, risk, technical debt, migration and also the solution roll out into the different Vodafone markets.

Key Accountabilities:

- Be responsible for engaging with technical, business and operations stakeholders to understand their needs, prioritise the delivery approach, and guide engineering leads in solution delivery as a design authority
- Ability to evaluate cost of ownership for the Platform Solution and support business cases for implementation following roadmap and customer prioritisation criteria.
- Own the architecture and low level design for Inventory, Assurance and Operational Support Systems (OSS) that conforms to the MPN product family and their integration.
- Coordinate solution
- and technical design to validate and complete end-to-end solutions
- Support for MPN Solutions integration architecture blueprint, and representation of MPN Inventory, OSS and Assurance Solution integration in wider MPN architecture forum

What you bring:

- Working experience on Open Source and Enterprise versions of components that support data collection, processing, reporting, visualisation, and automation such as: ELK; Syslog-ng, Prometheus; Grafana; Kibana; Camunda; Ansible; ONAP and Kafka
- Ability to use visualisation tools for PoC to enable design phase and support engineering areas.
- Familiar with TMF API and SID standards (TM Forum).
- Have the engineering discipline to design solutions covering scalability, security, availability, usability, and observability principles.
- Experience designing for complex architectures including geographically distributed deployments and integration between Local and Global Systems across different suppliers.
- Broad experience and expertise in telecommunications supporting systems in mobile network (proactive, reactive and prescriptive assurance, OSS, ticketing)
- Advanced level of English
