Description

Currently we are looking for a **Sales Account Manager for Iberia region**, for one of our customers **specialized in remote robotic inspection services** with unprecedented levels of safety, accuracy and speed.

**Reporting **to the Southern Europe Manager, as a **Sales Account Manager**, you will be managing **sales for existing customers and targeting new prospects** for the food **production industry** for Spain & Portugal.

You are the tip of the spear in our Iberian market.

You canvas the market, develop and leverage relationships, and drive our business in your region. While you lead our efforts in your geographical region, you are not alone: much has been done to prepare for our market entry and you will have the opportunity to hit the ground running, and you will work closely together with other regional Sales Managers.

**The challenge**

We are looking for a **high-potential Sales Manager** who wants to grow his/her career by joining a new **exciting technology and services company** with global growth ambitions. It is a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills broadly, within an ambitious start-up and travel the world while doing this

**The role**
- You will be focused on **both managing and developing existing customer relations** as well as **driving new customer sales**.
- A thorough account plan for each (potential) customer is the starting point for developing and maintaining customer success.
- You will visit customers in the **Food Production industry**, qualify opportunities, and offer the right solution for their situation. This includes making **quotations and working together with the engineers and sales support** to realize the deal.
- You will report to the **Sales Manager, Southern Europe**.
- For meetings you will be **expected to occasionally visit our European Headquarters** in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, or our Southern Europe Office in Rennes in France, but most of the time you will be **travelling through Spain and Portugal, **visiting (potential) customers.

**Requirements**:

- You have a good **understanding of the maintenance process** in the **maintenance area of Food Production industry** and have a **solid network in this field**.
- You have a **strong drive to grow a business from scratch** and have a problem solving and **creative way of thinking and acting**.
- **Integrity, professionalism, positive attitude**, a hands-on mentality, and team focus are natural elements in your personality.

In addition:

- You have at least **10 years sales experience** in selling industrial services with a proven track record of success
- You are a strong and self-starting individual with a broad understanding of the challenges in the **Food Production industry**:

- You are **methodical and structured** when it comes to managing your sales efforts
- You are **result-driven and takes ownership** of the sales process from A to Z
- You are **not just a hunter but a challenger** that wants to control the sales process
- You have a **can-do mentality **and do not shy away from being involved in the details
- You have good **organisational skills and negotiating** with main players in the food & beverage industry is your main strength
- You have a **bachelor’s degree** or equivalent, speak flu**ent Spanish, and have a good understanding of English** (written and spoken), ideally of Portuguese (written and spoken)
- **Travelling throughout Spain and Portugal** and sometimes abroad is no issue for you
- You have a **valid car driving license**
