**The Role**

As a project manager you are driving the development of new products to our product portfolio, delivering customer value. You interact and cooperate with colleagues of different internal departments. You ensure a productive and collaborative environment, and make sure that all team members have what they need to succeed. With a good understanding of processes and how they support our goals, you use them while fine tuning and improving along the way. Atlas Copco has well defined product development processes and support functions to help you facilitate your project activities and to succeed with your mission.

**What we expect of you?**
- Regularly review all on-going projects status, identify potential risks and define pro-active actions plan.
- Conduct strategic project planning and regular project review meetings
- Meet or Exceed the goals of the Organization and/or Department relative to Projects
- Monitor project handling within current process and internal requirements
- Independently initiate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Establish budgets and monitor project cost performance through the entire project.
- Provide clear proposal and projects status reporting and suggestion to her/his manager
- Provide a consolidated resources planning, reach agreement with other stack holders, review resources cross function when priorities decisions are needed with his/her manager
- Red Flag reporting.
- Through extending best practices and sharing/coaching activities, continue improvement
- Motivate the team and create a positive working environment with all departments

**Education or Qualifications**:
Master of Science in Engineering, or a similar technical university degree; plus minimum 4 years diversified engineering experience. PMI Certification is a plus.

**Required Knowledge and Skills**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a highly motivated, capable self-starter and be able demonstrate successful performance with independent problem solving, presentations, leadership and multitasking within and across departments to meet changing deadlines.
