**Job description**:
**IT Support Engineer**

**Start Date**: ASAP - Ideally before the 11th of December 2023

**Contract Length**: 5 Months

**Location**:Madrid. 3-4 days on-site per week in the office, 1-2 days from home.

**Working hours**: 8-5pm on site, Monday to Friday. NO Weekends :)

**Hours**: 40H per week

**INTERVIEWS WITH THE CLIENT HAPPENING ON WEDNESDAY 29th Between 11 am - 3 pm CET (Virtual Meeting)**

I am working with a leading manufacturing company that is looking for a well-rounded IT Support Engineer to join their team in Madrid to cover a maternity leave until April 2023.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that would be able to start this project as soon as possible, however, we can accommodate a reasonable notice period of maximum two weeks.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide IT support to local and global customers, both in-person as well as remote
- Image computers and perform asset management
- Help deploy and configure desktop setups
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues (macOS andWindows)
- Leverage the centralised helpdesk ticketing system to ensure SLAs are met
- Provide assistance with IT projects and implementations, as needed
- Collaborate with global IT teams and different business groups for cross-department projects
- Configure and troubleshoot conference room and A/V equipment
- Provide support for in-office and remote meetings/events
- Perform SaaS systems administration (Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, etc.)
- Share knowledge via team discussions and documentation

**What we're looking for in a Senior IT Support Engineer**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support
- Exceptional customer service skills is a must
- Good communication skills (Written & Spoken) - English & Spanish

**An ability to**:

- Systematically troubleshoot complex issues
- Provide repeatable solutions in a timely manner
- Work independently, yet know when to ask for guidance or support
- Multitask and prioritise tasks

**Knowledge of and experience with**:

- macOS and Windows environments
- Microsoft Office 365 productivity suite
- Centralised ticketing system
- Windows AD and related technologies (DNS, DFS, file sharing, centralised

printing, etc.)
- Basic networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, VPN,

etc.)
- IT security best practices
