Industrial Maintenance Area Manager

A vacancy for a Industrial Maintenance Area Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Sevilla.
The successful applicant will join Production Area.
**Tasks & accountabilities**
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- In the frame of major projects of acquisition of new assets, the Maintenance Engineer brings the Maintenance requirements and expertise along the acquisition projects in order to optimize the maintainability of the new asset when entering into the production phase.
- Ensure the Maintenance Department receives all the definitive documentation needed to optimize the performance of maintenance activities on this new asset.
- Analysis of failures and common faults that occur and how to take action to prevent them reoccurring through PPS methodology.
- Ensure the required technical plant availability in the respective field of activity.
- Lead digital transformation strategy in maintenance.
- Represent the department in meetings with the other areas of the plant.
**Required skills**
- Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Knowledge in SAP.
- Knowledge in CapEx.
- Proactive person.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized & Structured.
- Advanced level in English and Spanish.
