Location

Home-based role in Madrid, with frequent traveling within Spain.

Become part of Hempel’s growing & diverse Sales team. We seek a Business Development & Inside sales new hard-working colleague Responsible for selling the organization’s products B2B across multiple channels within designated territory, segment or account.

You will have the outstanding opportunity to report directly to our Sales Manager Infrastructure Spain, cooperate with colleagues from all over the world.

Lead changes and make an impact.

This position is intricately involved in customer research, pursuing sales leads, and visiting both existing and new customers. You will enjoy a significant level of autonomy in negotiating deals, delivering presentations to prospective clients, and finalizing sales orders to achieve revenue targets.

What you can look forward to in this Role:

- Driving the end-to-end sales process.
- Developing long-term relationships with existing and new customers to further grow the business.
- Prioritizing and plan sales activities (daily and weekly) by contacting clients and property managers, scheduling appointments and other events as required.
- Attending trade shows, partner organization meetings and industry events to network
- Playing an interactive role with the Sales Team during the proposal process to ensure profitability.
- Build and implement processes and policies to support the overall business.

What does it take to join our Hempel family?
- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or similar Engineering is appreciated.
- Proven ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Expertise within the industrial coating business and environment would be a plus.
- Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Good knowledge of Digital tools such as Power BI, CRM, Microsoft Office Package
- Valid driving license is required.
