We are looking for a IT Support Technician to provide on-site technical support and IT administration in our office in Spain.
What would your duties be?
Provide 1st line technical support by acting as a first point of contact for all incidents and run basic troubleshooting prior to escalating to the UK Service Desk team.
Perform effective triage of incidents & changes in the group IT service desk, in line with SLA’s.
Support & deploy company on-premises systems including desktops, laptops, MS Windows administration, user administration, ethernet cabling and some network administration (fibre, routers, switches).
Independently manage local desktop/laptop estate and monitor infrastructure systems.
You will be the only member of IT on-site, so maintaining good communications with the UK IT Department will be a very important part of this role.
Which are the requirements for this position?
1year working in a corporate IT Service Desk environment.
1 year working with IT infrastructure systems & technologies.
1 year exposure to IT security principles & practices.
Understanding of ITSM principles.
Basic understanding of networking principles, TCP/IP protocols and network hardware.
Professional IT qualification (such as MCP/MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent).
Proficiency in English.
