The Engineering department has a vacancy in its team for the following position:
Global Automation Lead
Technical and Operative responsible on TechOps function in the Automation area. In the Engineering Area, development of guidelines and ensure that sites have the required technical skills to develop the Automation discipline. Additionally, will support on Projects development. Focus on taking Corporate Standards and Best Practices to be applied at site. Provides and develops guide and standardization. Supports plants in troubleshooting. In the Projects area takes overall responsibility on assigned projects from Design, Execution and qualification (including CSV).

The main activities and responsibilities
- Formulates and executes a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of automation projects worldwide.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance existing automation systems and processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that all automation systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as FDA regulations, GxP guidelines, and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP).
- Identify potential risks associated with automation initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Develop and manage budgets for automation projects, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in the engineering field (Electricity, Electronics, Automation or Chemical) and/ or
- Master's degree in engineering management, technical management, or business administration.
- + 10 years in technical departments: Automation Engineer (+5 years), Project Management (+2 years), Process Engineering (+2 years). Desirable expertise in process engineering.
- Advanced level of English language (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of DELTA V (EMERSON) suite.
- Knowledge SIEMENS suite for SCADA systems. Additional is a plus.
- Understanding of Batch Control and ISA-88.
- Proven supervisory and technical skills.
- Working knowledge of different engineering disciplines and how they relate to one another.
- Qualification process knowledge is a must.
- Excellent teamwork capability, focus on client (Plants).
- Great communications and organizational skills.
- Speak-up freely over any deviation.
- Knowledge of working in a multicultural environment.
