We remove all the hassle around finding a rental with no long-term contracts, security deposits, broker fees, moving/buying furniture, etc., giving choice and flexibility to allow people to plant their roots anywhere.

Backed by Europe's best Venture Capital firms, this year will be vital in our growth as we look to further build out our team, further establish ourselves in our current markets, and expand our reach into multiple new markets. We are currently ranked in the top 10 startups in Spain by Linkedin, and we have successfully raised a Series A investment round of €27 million that will help propel our growth throughout Western Europe and bring us closer to reaching our goals.

**Role |**:
As the Home Operations Manager at Ukio, you will take the helm in overseeing locally the:
1. Onboarding New Ukio Homes.

2. Offboarding Ukio Homes

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality standards across Ukio's apartment portfolio. You will manage the Home Operations Team in collaboration with external partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to reduce operational costs, optimize processes, enhance communication, and uphold Ukio's quality standards.

**Responsibilities |**:
Coordination
- Lead and mentor the local Home Operations team fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Supervise and support Supervisors, Coordinators, Interns, and Project Technicians on their daily basis making changes according to priorities.
- Hire, onboard, train and develop new team members ensuring their understanding of Ukio´s processes, department goals and company objectives.
- Be the link between Supply, Design and Guest Operations, having always as biggest interest the company’s vision and goals.

New Apartment Onboarding I Offboarding
- Oversee the setup and furnishing of newly acquired apartments by collaboration cross-functionally with the property acquisition (supply department) and design department to facilitate the seamless onboarding of new apartments into Ukio's portfolio
- Manage the milestones, project schedules and Design transformation budgets for all Ukio Homes refurbishment plans to ensure project deliverables are met.

Quality Assurance and Standards
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve comprehensive quality standards for apartments, including cleanliness, maintenance, and interior design
- Conduct regular field inspections and evaluations of apartments to ensure compliance with established quality benchmarks.
- Uphold and reinforce Ukio´s commitment to quality and guest satisfaction

Cost Reduction and Process Improvement
- Accomplish strict control and awareness of overall department costs, specially on labor (internal and external).
- Ensure the team follows the department’s guidelines, SOPs and Policies in order to streamline processes, enhance communication and improve information flow.

**About you |**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Hospitality, Real Estate, Project Management, Construction, Refurbishment) and/or managing operations in a startup environment.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a demonstrated track record of project management success.
- Strong PM skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to foster collaboration and drive improvements.
- Organized, able to follow up processes and to deliver fast follow up.
- Fluent in Spanish and English. A third language is a plus.
- Flexible, resilient and content with ambiguity and changes.
