The role holder will work with leaders within the EU Credit, Risk & Collections team reporting to the EU Head of Credit & Risk to maximize efficiency.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills and tenacity to be effective. The role holder will need to engage with a broad set of stakeholders throughout the Elavon business. The expectation of this role is that it becomes a key aid to the Head of Credit Risk and Collections and will positively impact the overall strategy and efficiency of the team.

**Accountabilities**:

- Track strategic initiatives that deliver against the short
- and medium-term priorities, ensuring follow-through on the part of key players, and sustaining momentum needed to drive these initiatives
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure sponsorship is in place where needed and clarity around priority and ownership.
- Serve as a first alert system - an extra set of eyes and ears - keeping the Head of Credit Risk & Collections and direct reports aware of unanticipated problems to be addressed or opportunities to be considered
- Assist the Head of department in developing communication across the Leadership Team, creating initial drafts of communications to the Leadership Team and the broader business
- Assist the department in Employee Engagement Initiatives. Support the Talk to US Survey process throughout the survey year assisting the Head of Credit Risk & Collections analysing the survey results, determining priorities for action planning, monitoring progress of action plans
- Support executive reporting and content., developing communication across Team, creating initial drafts of communications to the Leadership Team and the broader business
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure sponsorship is in place where needed and clarity around priority and ownership.
- Provide team leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork across the organization
- Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity
- Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with Head of Credit Risk & Collections on special projects

- Extensive collaboration skills and an ability to manage through difficult situations in a manner which ensures the business achieves its goals.
- Knowledge, understanding & interpretation of Credit Risk & Collections policies.
- Highly collaborative individual, flexible and able to adapt to requirements of business from time to time
- Proven track record of influencing business decisions.
- Strong eye for detail; ability to identify and demonstrate trends to stakeholders alongside recommended course of action.
- Builds a culture of equity and inclusion

**Technical Competencies**
- Good MS Office skills & knowledge
- Ability to create and edit powerpoint presentations
- Meeting Minutes;
- Tracking and follow up
- Adobe, Reader / Writer.

**Qualifications Required to perform your Role?**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field
- Multilingual would be useful
- Merchant services experience, Experience of payments, fintech or banking advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field

- Focused on developing creative solutions
- Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications
