Founded in 2012, this data-driven niche market research company provides business insights focused on the African market for a broad variety of consumer markets. Due to the success and stable growth of their business, they are now looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and ambitious product owner willing to challenge their skills and lead the development of a new consumer data sciences product and manage the product life cycle.

**Your responsibilities and impact working as a data product owner will be**:

- Manage the development and lifecycle of a new consumer data science product
- Build a clear understanding of existing data structure and data flows
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements, including data collection methodologies and data calculation rules
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to internal team members
- Develop a deep understanding of the current and future needs of our clients in terms of “syndicated usage & attitude” data
- Define product success metrics and track product performance against those metrics

- Work collaboratively with our product team (Customer Success Manager and Data Analysts to design and deliver a product that provides the insights our customers require

**Skills, qualifications, and interests you need to succeed in this role?**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in **English**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics or another quantitative field
- Experience developing data science products and in data storytelling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- **2+ years** of relevant experience, for instance in a Research or Statistics related role.
