- **Lead Data Scientist **to join our Spain AIA Team.-
**Key Responsibilities**
- Understand the client's business and identify opportunities for using machine learning to solve real-world problems.
- Evaluate the complexity and feasibility of machine learning solutions based on the state of the art, industry standards and market trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for AI initiatives, including planning, scoping, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery.
- Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- If your motivations and skills fit the Team Leader role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate a team of machine learning engineers working in areas such as generative AI, computer vision and NLP.

**Essential Skills**:

- 7-9 years as Data Scientist role: designing, developing and deploying complex machine learning solutions.
- Solid understanding of machine learning models, metrics and best practices, including both classical and deep learning algorithms.
- Excellent command of Python.
- Proven experience managing AI projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Advanced level of Spanish is required.

**Nice to Have Skills.**
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) is a plus.
- Experience with software engineering and understanding of software engineering best practices (Git, CI/CD, testing, documentation) is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning models in production using MLOps is a plus. Excellent leadership, management and communication skills.- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Experience working in IT consulting companies.
- B2 or higher level of English would be an asset.
