The Plant Engineer will manage and deliver projects (on time, budget, and quality) when appropriate and be hands on work for Commissioning and Qualification activities related to new projects/ machinery deliver. He/she will provide technical support for the smooth operation of equipment and systems for high-tech manufacturing of medicinal products. He/she will be responsible of increasing reliability of equipment functioning on site through proper investigation of technical deviations and CAPAs.
The Plant Engineer will also be in charge of documenting these activities following GMP rules.

**Work location**: La Almunia de Doña Godina (Zaragoza)

**Major accountabilities**:

- Troubleshooting of technical issues in equipment onsite or projects and ensure documentation of it with compliance of internal standards. Collaboration with quality department for the documentation (GMP) on the same (change controls, deviations, work instructions, risk assessments).
- Active cooperation with local and global leaders in the field of engineering and manufacturing.
- Coordinating activities of optimization projects and introduction of technological improvements on equipment and systems.
- Collaborations in investment projects and modifications (User requirements, functional specification, equipment selection, start-ups, and testing/calibration).
- Management of technical/engineering changes (preparation, validation, and closure of requests for changes).
- Responsible of creating, maintaining, and optimizing maintenance procedures for equipment onsite. Responsible for maintaining calibration plan executed as per plan and optimize cost for related activities. Support to other colleagues in the field of calibration and maintenance (corrective and preventive). Strong hands-on experience in maintenance activities.
- Interaction at different stages in projects for site, preparations of ECAR etc. Definition of strategy for future projects.
- Cooperation with local and international service providers, suppliers, and manufacturers of technological equipment. Management of internal and external contractors for calibrations (procurement, control and certification of certificates).

**Minimum requirements**

**Obligatory requirements**:

- Degree in engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) or equivalent. Preferable Industrial/ Mechanical/ related but all will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering and/or production environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office tools. Knowledge of AutoCAD software tools and maintenance software.
- Proactivity, self-initiation, accountability and reliability.
- Previous experience in project management in manufacturing scope and in maintenance, calibration and industrial plants.
- Experience in Pharma Manufacturing & GMP Rules.
- Fluent in English and proficient in local language spoken and written
