**What will your role look like?**

You will lead Eticas´algorithmic auditing team and be the main contact point with their clients. You’ll plan, guide, and ensure the scientific quality of algorithmic auditing projects (both internal and third
- party audits), where they focus on the social impact of AI and the systems in which they operate; helping shape a more ethical technological future.

**To be successful in this mission you will**:

- Evaluate algorithmic systems and their impacts and recommend adjustments & best practices to mitigate biases.
- Maintain a portfolio of audit clients.
- Prepare and plan algorithmic audits scheduling deliverables, resource allocation and reaching maximum quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with department standards, directly supervising, Audit team members.
- Learn Eticas´algorithmic auditing methodology, designing qualitative and quantitative analysis and data collection for unique projects with an emphasis on socio-technical approaches, guiding the team on how to implement them.
- Coach and lead other auditors, providing feedback and mentoring to assist in their development.
- Collaborate with researchers, developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to continue to develop Eicas´methodology and product.
- Perform analyses on a variety of data with an eye for new direction of research and dissemination. Help design and plan the impact actions that stem from Eicas´ audits.
- Be able to quickly and efficiently understand and create content that maximizes impact.
- Compile findings into compelling and accessible research reports that ensure succinct highlighting of the issues, solutions, and key insights, and perform peer reviews of your team’s work to ensure the highest quality.
- Work in multiple projects with conflicting deadlines and multiple stakeholders while retaining scientific quality and respecting set deadlines and company & client standards.
- Work with our Business Development team to identify auditing opportunities and turn them into contracts.
- Be passionate about social change and ethics in technology.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, proactivity, and growth within your team.

**Requirements**:
**What will make you suceed?**
- 5-8 years of experience conducting algorithmic audits or impact assessments with a sociotechnical approach.
- Ability to read, speak and write fluently in English and (preferably) Spanish.
- Strong skills in project managment and reporting.
- Being collaborative and a strong team leader. Taking and giving constructive feedback, and being attentive to the needs and potential of your team.
- Work proactively and have a can-do mindset to execute your own ideas without the need for large investments in validation, along with a lifelong learning attitude.
- Adeptness in thinking critically and communicating clearly, especially when relaying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Speak and write in other languages (Catalan, French, German, Dutch, etc.)
- Have a general understanding of and ability to incorporate data science and statistics into your work.
- Have experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis and methodology development.
- Have led remote-first teams.
- Dominate Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, and any PM software.
- Have experience with global ethics and technology networks.
- Have a Privacy Concern: you challenge Data Laws and are concerned with Data Privacy.
