Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics, with around 3.000 employees. From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.

As a Prototype Engineer in Valeo Martos you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, working in an international and multicultural environment.

**Your mission**:
Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of prototype activities and leading innovation/ improvement action.

**Your responsibilities**:
**Deliverables**:

- Ensure the prototype feasibility and support the project objectives.
- Report and escalate to his Prototype Technical Leader if required any deviations in QCD indicators.
- Integrated to the project team to collect their needs and customers requirements.

**Detailed scheduling and budgeting**
- Establish with support of “metiers” detail break down of the activities to meet the milestones
- Follow activities of his scope to meet his allowed budget.
- Define the budget of implementation of mockups and demo cars. Define associated quotations.
- Cost, timing, quality follow up for the assigned prototype, updating associated actions plans and KPI’s.

**Management of the contributors**
- Daily management of activities in collaborations of this/ her contributors.

**Desired skills and experience**:

- Industrial or Engineering Degree.
- 2 years of experience in product development.
- Advanced level of English
- Passion for the automotive industry.
