RingCentral is looking for a Corporate Counsel, ideally with 4+ or more years of experience to join its Commercial Legal Team. This self-motivated individual will be comfortable working in an exciting, high-growth, fast paced, sales-driven culture and will be responsible for managing the expectations of the Sales Department as well as engaging directly with customers and partners and their attorneys during contract negotiations. This position is based in Spain and will report directly to our Senior Director, EMEA Legal.
- You should have experience advising on Tech, Telecoms and Data Protection Laws.
- Your primary focus will include drafting, advising on and/or negotiating Sales Agreements for cloud-based services.
- You will be open to working on other types of agreements, including vendor and partner agreements.
- You will be open to researching and advising on employment matters.
- You will be the first line of Legal support in Spain and assist driving matters to conclusion, including managing external lawyers and distilling advice into easy-to-understand language.
- You will be comfortable interfacing with Sales, Sales Operations, Services, Finance and Accounting teams to assist the Legal team’s efforts in the preparation, implementation and optimization of forms, processes and procedures, and in setting up efficient go to market models in various countries in the EU.

**Requirements**:
Typically, 4+ years as a deal/transactional lawyer at a top law firm or leading high-tech/cloud company.

Confidence in dealing with other departments, outside representatives, and upper management.

Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and open communication at all levels of the organization.

Work cross-functionally. Self-driven. Team player. Results oriented and accountable to timely deliver exceptional results.

Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.

A genuine enjoyment for providing legal support to sales teams in high-tech. Trusted advisor and valued partner to sales team. Can do attitude.

Fluent in Spanish and English
