**ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM**

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Develop Power BI Reports: Create comprehensive and interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI, utilizing data to deliver quality data sets that enable actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Ensure Data Quality: Monitor data sets, employing advanced data validation and cleansing techniques to maintain high standards of data integrity and quality.
- Data Integration and Transformation: Monitor and build integration and transformation from various sources, preparing it for in-depth analysis and visualization in Power BI.
- Optimize Power BI Performance: Tune Power BI data sets and dashboards for optimal performance, ensuring efficient data refreshes and query execution against data sources.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks within PostgreSQL and Power BI environments, adhering to data governance and privacy standards.

Qualifications:
**ABOUT YOUR SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Data Science with a strong emphasis on analytics.
- At least 4 years working experience in a BI/Data Analyst role, with a focus on data quality and controls, particularly using Power BI for reporting and analytics.
- Certification in Power BI or equivalent professional training
- Proficiency in managing relational databases with a good understanding of its advanced features like support for various data types (numbers, text, JSON, XML, arrays), ensuring data integrity, and leveraging SQL for database access and manipulation.
- Knowledge of agile methodology principles
- Clear communication skills, capable of mentoring and guiding teams with a focus on financial analytics.
- You are assertive, highly motivated, with the ability to influence outcomes, drive issues to closure, and pursue challenging goals vigorously.
- You possess good communication skills, capable of engaging in various forms of discussions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
