How You Will Achieve It
- Overseeing and managing the scheduling process on a global scale. This includes continuous improvements and come with innovate ideas that meets the needs of the business.
- Developing minimum standards of scheduling capability and drive measurable change at key Pfizer assets using the IMEX principle. _IMEX principle (Integrated Manufacturing Excellence) is a widely used approach to manufacturing that focuses on optimizing and integrating all aspects of the production process to achieve maximum efficiency and quality._
- Proposing scheduling metrics to track adherence at different sites, the process owner can identify areas where the process can be improved and take steps to address those issues.
- Collaborating with Pfizer colleagues who possess exceptional analytical skills while utilizing the Pfizer data lake to gain deep insight into the company operations.
- Supporting and collaborating with site schedulers, buyers, etc.. to improve the ways of working and drive effective interaction.
- Discuss and formulate ways to achieve higher levels of autonomy in scheduling. The drivers include scheduling processes, materials planning, release planning, parameters, and warehouse management.
- Convert them into standard work for colleagues at PGS sites to ensure capabilities sustain and improve through local continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deploy the standard work at the key sites and confirm their effectiveness using data and performance measurements. This would be done in collaboration with the operations research or performance management team.
- Drive innovations in production scheduling by managing global system configuration, enhancement requests and other processes linked to process ownership of the software solution.
- Represent PGS in the Center of Excellence for planning and scheduling. Work with the community strategy lead in the team to develop ways to engage with stakeholders.
- Respond to major or persistent system issues to ensure the Digital teams provide high system availability.

**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- BS/BA in Operations management or industrial engineering field required.
- 5 or more years of experience in Supply Chain / Materials Management or operations management in the pharmaceutical industry. Proven packaging scheduling experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated capability to plan and schedule complex biopharma manufacturing processes.
- Highly qualified to document test plans, standard work procedures and scheduling processes.
- Proven experience in acting as a change agent by proposing and implementing new approaches.
- Must have demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking/planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact, build effective relationships, and influence leaders at all levels of the organization is imperative.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple ways based on the audience in different formats.
- Required high fluency in English.

Nice-to-Have
- Experience with product development processes within a pharmaceutical or medical device company
- Understanding and/or experience in Agile methodologies, lean production systems, process excellence and performance improvement tools, techniques and concepts.
- IMEX ecosystem implementation including the Leadership Ecosystem, Lean and Six Sigma experience.
- Experience with SAP ECC/Kinaxis/PlanetTogether or other Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Limited business travel (approximately 10%).
- Expected to occasionally lead and/or participate in early morning or evening meetings to accommodate different time zones.
- Ability to communicate across regions, countries and cultures
