Nurse, Ie Medical Services

Overview:
IE University is looking for a Nurse to join the Medical Service team. The primary responsibility for this position is to provide top-level medical care to the university members.

The IE university Nurse will report directly to the Medical Coordinator and your mission will be to provide primary care, help patients with different pathologies, carry out health education for their day-to-day management, promote and motivate to change healthy lifestyle habits.

**Responsibilities**:
**Key Action Areas**:

- Assess, observe, and speak to patients.
- Record details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health.
- Identify health problems and act as needed.
- Indicate the most appropriate therapy for acute processes.
- Plan and propose appropriate preventive measures for each clinical situation.
- Administer medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions.
- Perform wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment.
- Educate patients on treatment and care plans, as well as answer their questions.
- Make referral to the appropriate level of care if needed.
- Monitor the student's situation and maintaining communication with parents or guardians.
- Perform additional duties assigned.

Qualifications:
**Requirements**:

- Nursing Degree (Collegiate in Spain)
- More than 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Experience successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
