We have a unique opportunity as a **Partner Solutions Consultant** at our client in **Madrid**, a next-gen, global data platform innovator that puts data to work for everyone so they can multiply their impact within their businesses.
This is a multifaceted role which works with Partners and Partner Account Managers to ensure a complete understanding of the technology platform from pre-sales, through the sales cycle, to post sales success. The Partner Team in EMEA is focused on developing a fully enabled and self-sufficient portfolio of partners that can support growth plans whilst maintaining industry leading customer satisfaction and renewal rates. Our client works with Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators, Boutique BI Consultancies, other ISVs etc. Partners support the world’s largest companies through to SMEs.

- and post-sales functions as well as sales and technical enablement teams across the globe. You will also work 20% on direct pre-sales opportunities.
We’re looking for a smart, technically enabled Partner Solutions Consultant with a background in Pre-Sales and Data Analytics and/or BI. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure partners become fully enabled to source, sell, service and deliver data platform solutions
- Act as coach and mentor for partner consultants both during their certification process and beyond
- Be able to lead a technical discovery process, deliver sales presentations and customised product demonstrations
- Support partners in their pre-sale activities and in the first few initial sales have more of a hands-on co-sell approach to educate and teach best practice
- Support partners with any technical or product related questions they may have
- Develop technical training materials and run workshops to upskill partners on the data platform
- Plan and deliver webinars to the partner community to update and educate them on areas of the platform and new feature releases
- Be a strong advocate for our client within the partner community
- Interact with partners at all levels of the organisations
- Develop and maintain great relationships with partners
- Work on direct pre-sales opportunities within the company (approx 20%)
**Qualifications**
- A BSc degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths etc.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience of working with resellers, SIs and service partners across EMEA beneficial
- Experience of training and coaching
- Ability to skilfully communicate with both business and technical audiences
- Ability to quickly develop expert-level understanding of complex software systems
- Understanding of the Business Intelligence and the SaaS marketplace
- Working knowledge of specialised BI tools and solution providers (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Power BI, Cognos etc.)
- Proficiency with SQL and demonstrated experience of data modelling, data warehousing, data integration, web services, APIs, etc.
- Experience with enterprise customer architectures, cloud computing, data platforms and sources (e.g. SAP, Snowflake, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, JIRA, etc.)
- Knowledge of other coding languages (e.g. Python, R, JavaScript, HTML, CSS,
- etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
- Self-starter, flexible, and self-motivated
- Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to travel as needed
- Excellent verbal and written **English **and **Spanish** skills; any other European language considered a bonus
- Additional language skills would be advantageous but not essential (e.g. German, French, Portuguese, Italian)
