**Job description**:
Find your place at Amaris Consulting as **Senior IT Project Manager** in** Madrid (remote from Spain or hybrid mode)**, for one of our main partners of the banking industry. Start your new adventure in an international and agile environment by leading multi-disciplinary teams of strategic and **operational** planning, and actively leading PMO operations.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- **Project Governance**: Ensuring adherence to project governance processes and standards, even in a distributed work
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Overseeing **project budgets**, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-control measures to optimize project costs.
- Change Management: Managing changes in **project scope**, requirements, or resources in an offshore environment, and effectively communicating the impact on the project.
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to address **conflicts** that may arise in a distributed team and facilitate resolutions to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Relationship Building: Developing strong **relationships** with the offshore team, fostering trust, and encouraging effective collaboration.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the project scope and requirements.
- Efficiently allocating and managing resources, both onshore and offshore, to optimize
productivity and meet project objectives.
- Metrics and Reporting**:Proficiency** in tracking project progress, **KPIs**, and performance metrics to provide accurate and timely reports to stakeholders.
- **Risk** Management: Identifying potential risks associated with the offshore collaboration and implementing strategies to mitigate them for successful project delivery.

✍️ **WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? **✍️
- More than **6 years of relevant experience** as IT Project Manager, ideally in the banking environment.
- Ideally based in Madrid.
- Great knowledge of project management methods & experience with **Agile**:

- Excellent **planification** capacities & stakeholders management.
- Ability to **coordinate** tasks and meetings across different time zones, ensuring smooth communication and timely project updates.
- Client-facing communication skills.
- **Proficiency** in managing projects with a distributed team and addressing challenges specific to an offshore
- **Spanish native and English fluency is a must**. Any other language would be considered a plus.

**NICE TO HAVE**
- Experience in Banking would be highly appreciated.
