**About the role**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Cost & Business Analyst to enhance our financial performance through meticulous cost and business analysis and effective budget management.

This role involves a high degree of autonomy and decision-making authority, overseeing complex financial projects and collaborating across departments

**Key Accountabilities**
- Accuracy of budget forecasts vs. actual spending.
- Percentage improvement in cost efficiency through process optimization initiatives.
- Compliance rate with internal controls and financial accuracy.
- Reduction in material costs as a percentage of total production cost.
- Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending
- Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions
- Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs
- Estimate product costs for existing and new products
- Forecast and analyze costs of processes, labor and inventory
- Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions
- Conduct market research to support future business planning

**Skill & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in cost & business analysis, financial reporting, or a similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to manage large datasets
- Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and its cost structures.
- Proficient in financial modeling and with SAP.
- Prior experience in managing financial projects or leading cross-functional initiatives is highly desirable
