**Job Description**:
The Department of Homologation of Passenger cars, Light Commercial Vehicles & Components is looking for an Homologation Engineer to join the team at Idiada's Headquarters.
He/she will be specifically dedicated to the testing and certification of passenger cars vehicles according to regulations applicable for electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid-electric vehicles (HEVs), batteries and Passive Safety.
He/she will be **responsible **for the following tasks:
- To deal with the clients in order to understand their needs and to manage the certification projects.
- To perform and witness tests according to the specific regulations applicable for EVs, HEVs, batteries & passive safety.
- To analyze the technical documentation and prepare the related test reports
**Qualifications**:
**Profile**
- Knowledge in automotive technology is a must.
- Knowledge in EVs, HEVs, batteries & passive safety is highly valued.
- Knowledge in automotive regulations/standards would be an asset.
**Academic training**
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Automotive industry, or similar.
**Languages**
- High level of English and Spanish
- Knowledge in other languages would be an asset.
