**R&D Engineer**:

In this position, you will contribute ideas for innovative technology developments and solutions, working to solve industrial problems. Reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will contribute creative ideas to R&D projects, as well as proposing follow-up projects and activities based on new ideas.

**This position reports to**:
R&D Principal Engineer

**Your responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute electrical and mechanical testing of DIN-rail electrical components (RCD, MCB, RCBO)
- Generate Technical documentation to support the validation of new products and processes
- Making judgments and contributing to results through an understanding of the key business drivers for ABB
- Ensuring alignment with targets and coordinating activities
- Working to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction according to incoming requests, and providing consulting services to business operations and customers
- Identifying risks in R&D projects

**Your background**:

- Three years of experience in electrical or electronic testing, working as Testing and Laboratory Technician with electromechanical or electronic devices, or recently graduated from an Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Sound knowledge of Laboratory Instrumentation for electric testing, and the Electrical market
- A solution-focused approach and team-player mindset.
- Professional training (FP) or Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- English level: write/read technical reports and spoken conversation level
