Overview:
Management and administration of the unit. Assist and collaborate with the direction of the Library. Collaborate in the coordination and supervision of the services and products offered by the library. Inform the management of the actions, activities, incidents and anomalies that occur in the operation of the library, proposing lines of action and preparing those reports, statistics and data analysis necessary for the different issues and initiatives carried out by the Library. Develop the strategy of cutting-edge technologies, among others. Implement and collaborate on action plan proposals to achieve excellent Library performance: maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Any other specific function not mentioned, which may be entrusted by the circumstantial management for the solution of any need of the Library.

- Preparation, coordination and supervision of the tasks and actions that make the products and services offered by the
- Manage and review the excellent functioning of the virtual library and the institutional repository with all the organization's own production.
- Project annual budget of the unit and guarantee its compliance.
- Generate impact on the life cycle of researchers.

- Propose and implement evaluation plans and periodic action of the different services and products.
- Development and excellent functioning of daily activities, according to the needs of the library.
- Find development niches annually through benchmarking, among others.
- Reinforce the continuous development of the unit. Achieve greater impact and ROI.
- Preparation, monitoring and compliance with budgets.
- The management of the Team of people in coordination with the HR policies of the organization and the needs of the unit.
- Preparation and achievement of the strategic plan.
- Preparation of presentations and metrics with data from management indicators (power BI, etc.).
- Assistance in the location, handling and conservation of research data, specialized resources in the different areas of knowledge of the IE with the aim of covering the research needs of the organization's researchers. Achieve greater impact in the research life cycle.
- Negotiation and review of contracts with information providers.
- Obtaining new external financing through external financiers, world aid, etc.
- Bibliographical and technical orientation. Resolution of expert information queries.
- User training.
- Presentations and dissemination of the IE Library in other departments of the organization and external institutions.
- Participation in working groups and conferences. Strengthening alliances and cooperation
- Review of actions and conservation actions, inventory, definitive and provisional cancellation, copyright, open access, institutional repositories.
- Management of innovation projects related to the development and dissemination of applied research of the Foundation, Centers and Observatories and the University.
- Support accreditations and ranking positioning.
- Discovery, analysis and implementation of innovative technologies in Information Sciences.
- Design and implementation in IE Library of new APP's, holograms, immersive reality, augmented reality, gamification and virtual reality, artificial intelligence.
- Preparation of articles, videos, book chapters, congresses, conferences, presentations.

Qualifications:
**Requirements**:

- University
- Graduate School of Information Sciences & Technology or MS in Library and Information Science; and studies and experience in Business Management an Administration will be highly
- High level of English in conversation (Minimum B2). Speaking other languages.

**Work schedule: from 11:00h to 15:00h, from 16:00h to 20:00h from Monday to Friday **one Saturday or Sunday morning he/she works, two he/she does not work. Recover the hours entering from Monday to Friday at 12 o'clock.**:
