KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Partly qualified in Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA) or CIMA /ACCA.
- Minimum of 3-4 years working experience in international tax environment and experience in Big 3 audit firms (PwC, KPMG, EY) would be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Sinhala and English and regional tax knowledge is mandatory.
- Proficient in tax technical skills and possess strong analytical skills.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation and review of local tax returns and conduct regular tax audits to identify potential compliance issues to ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Support Tax Manger in developing tax planning strategies by analyzing financial data and identify opportunities for tax savings.
- Conduct in depth tax research on complex tax issues including changes in tax laws and analyze the impact of tax changes on the company and make recommendations to the Tax Manager.
- Assist in preparation of monthly tax provisions, tax note in financial statement, perform regular reconciliations of tax related accounts and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Identify risk and opportunities to streamline tax processes and enhance efficiency in order to assist Tax Manager in implementing process improvements.
- Maintaining tax compliance tracker, tax audit tracker and tax risk tracker to ensure Group Tax reporting requirement.
