**Job description**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. If you have a passion for driving cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **_Contract Negotiation Expertise:_** Conduct negotiations to secure advantageous terms, ensuring contracts align with company expectations and requirements.
- **_Supplier Relationship Building:_** Cultivate and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance evaluations for compliance and on-time deliveries.
- **_Order Management Excellence:_** Oversee the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of supply issues.
- **_Efficient Record Keeping:_** Implement and update procurement records and supplier contracts in the company's internal tool, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- **_Technological Proficiency:_** Demonstrate solid competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software for creating and maintaining procurement documentation and reports
- **_Stakeholder Collaboration:_** Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and translate them into clear, effective procurement strategies.
- **_Industry Insight:_** Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions to inform procurement decisions and strategy.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in procurement, business administration, finance, or a related field. Certification Advantage: Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement role with a strong understanding of procurement processes, including RFPs and PO management.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
- Strong analytical skills for managing budgets and critically evaluating supplier proposals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for managing and analyzing procurement data. Experience with procurement software and supply chain management systems, with a preference for Ivalua.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier management and internal collaboration.
- Project Management: Strong project management and leadership skills is a plus.
