**Junior Clinical Research Project Manager (IMM-Care)**
**Promotion and Development of Clinical Research (PDRC)**

VHIR is seeking a **Junior Clinical Research Project Manager** to join its PDRC Directorate.

project iMM-CARE: BOOSTING CLINICAL RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY. VHIR leads the

WP on Training and the PM will give support to the team involved in the project for an excellent execution of

Research Directorate of VHIR to facilitate and promote high-quality, innovative, and effective clinical

research programs that align with the institute´s strategic goals.***

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Bachelor’s degree, preferable in life sciences or related fields.
- Full proficiency in English
- Good command of Spanish and/or Catalan.
- Availability to travel.

**Desired: -**

PhD in a life-sciences related field will be highly valued.
- Complementary training in project management and/or people development and talent management will be a

plus.

Proven experience in clinical research activities management and coordination tasks. Ability to autonomously
coordinate project partners and supervise tasks execution in projects of certain complexity.
- Excellent communication and influence skills with at ease dealing with senior international scientists, healthcare
professionals and the rest of the team and stakeholders involved in the project.

**Desired: -**

Demonstrated knowledge about physician-scientists career pathway and their opportunities for research
training.
- Previous experience working as clinical trials or clinical research manager or organizer in health research
institutions and/or Hospitals environments will be a plus.
- Good IT skills.
- Strong organizational and planning capacities
- Proactive, results oriented professional with close attention to detail and with the ability to work under tight
deadlines.

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Organize and support the logistics associated with the clinical research activities upon VHIR portfolio and needs
- Coordinate the support staff devoted to clinical activities (Study Coordinators, Data Entries,)
- Act supporting general tasks of the Head of Unit and Directorate
- Contribute to the IMM-Care project tasks. Mainly, collaborate in the design, development and implementation
tasks to create new training initiatives such as Clinical Trials Training Programme addressed to the staff
working at clinical research platforms
- Any other duties related to the job as requested to contribute to the general functioning of the project and the
Promotion and Development of Clinical Research Directorate.
