Modelling & Data Analysis Intern

Our proprietary solid-state battery technology will allow us to develop and commercialise safe, high performance and affordable products for a diverse portfolio of customers, from mobility, stationary energy storage and consumer electronics.

To this end, we offer the position of Thermal Modelling & Data Analysis Intern.

**MAIN FUNCTIONS**

Reporting directly to the R&D director and Modelling manager, s/he will be responsible for:

- Building a ready to use numerical database of model parameters related to physical properties and kinetics parameters of semi-solid electrolytes and target active materials from literature, interaction with raw material suppliers and available Basquevolt data.
- Contribute to the electrochemical model development by identifying the equations related to the physics behind and their couplings (electrochemical, thermal, and mechanical behaviour).
- Contribute to the definition and reaction of the testing protocols of the future pouch cells.
- Contribute to the elaboration and characterization of the electrodes to extract related parameters, compare, and update the material database
- Elaborate the needed scripts in programming language like Python to extract the model parameters from experimental data

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual capable of taking up this challenging opportunity to develop an ambitious project.
- Electrochemical /Chemistry.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and using them for processing experimental data.
- Experience of working with battery related data like Cycling and EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy) data.
- Understanding of relevant electrochemical concepts like porous electrode theory, electrochemical circuit modelling etc.

Additional:

- Knowledge of simulation packages like COMSOL and MATLAB for modelling batteries.
- Knowledge of physics-based battery models like DFN(Doyle-Fuller-Newman) models, Single particle models etc.
